^ should be dry for the next few days, can't speak for 45 between here and there though.
(time to make some Lemonade) For those people that do end up getting checks from their ins. cos., I know where you can get a nice montego blue coupe... (' ' ) ( ' ') |

No prob man. I remember a hail storm that blew threw plano a while back and it was maybe the 2nd time my car was at classic for service. I woke up the next morning at 6am and just kept calling until i finally got ahold of a used car salesman. I just remember that night i kept thinking the worst picturing my car looking like the op's car.

After looking at the car again this morning, I am 99% sure it's totaled. I am beyond sad about this, as my car was (is) my baby, and having to watch it happen made it worse. On the bright side (because there is always a bright side), maybe I'll get a 335is next, or an M3.

Also, I should mention that I'll be returning the car back to stock before the adjuster comes out. I'm holding on to the parts until I figure out what car I'm getting next, but if I go the M3 route I will be parting out mods. Let me know if anyone wants dibs on anything. I don't have the stock wheels, so the current wheels have to go with the car (unless someone wants to swap, but one of the wheels is bad anyway so you probably don't want 'em).

wow. i probably would have grabbed something to cover my head and then gotten in the cars and driven into the garage myself...either that or throw a mattress out on it.
side note: interesting article about how hail forms - never knew but wondered why it was always late in the afternoon close to when i get off work... http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/What-...159084275.html

I had the couch cushions pulled and ready to go on top of the car. Everything happened so fast that by the time they were out there, all of the damage had already been done so I didn't bother.

That is insane. Its odd because there was just a very small chance of rain on Wed night. I don't know what's going on this summer. I've never seen anything like it. It rains every time there is a 10% chance of rain. Its a far cry from last years drought.

Here's mine.
Progressive is going to take a look at it on Sunday. I think the entire process is going to take 10-12 weeks.

I've been getting estimates for some non-hail bodywork from shops in the area. For everyone that needs hail repair I'd say not to hold your breath. Classic said they were still processing claims from the *last* round of hail and they're about 2 months out. All the other places I went are swamped too. Most won't even take walk-ups if it's for hail damage.

Was it just the hood/windshield, or did the rest of the car take a hit too?

Pretty much the entire car got it. I think only the front bumper and fenders are undamaged.
