I'm sure it would be pretty good, drop it a 5000rpm and hold on...

I wish. We'll see if I trust Procede in a year or two.

Yeah as long as you don't kill your clutch or drop a diff. You will definitely get a good launch, but you may end up having to replace your clutch after a couple dozen launches. Should be very nice for your 1st to 2nd shift though as you won't have to worry about modulating the throttle as much.

getting a good launch with an awd is a little trickier but as long as you slip the clutch and dont rev too high you're fine. might be a little tougher when you make 300lb/ft at 1400rpm though

In a 335 as long as your let the clutch bite before you floor it, then you should be fine. As you build boost so early and have so much torque, I would think that an intial slip at about 3500 would be good... then once you feel the bite then mash the foot to the floor and get ready to shift

Just a clutch drop is not recommended if you want your want to keep your car in good shape. Some people with turbo cars that produce all their boost past 3000 rpm like to drop the clutch from 6000 rpm just so they can stay in boost after the car starts rolling. But if you do a launch right, you can still stay in boost even in a car that produces boost later in the rpm range.

AWD turbo cars are a lot harder than you think to launch.

On a turbo car you really have to blip the throttle rather than just hold it at 5000 rpms and dump the clutch....because if you hold it the turbo will stop spooling because its not under load.

the trick is blip it back and forth...for example blip it from 3500rpms to 5500 rpms and then on the upswing to 5500 rpms is when you launch the car...it takes some time to learn and get it down.

AWD cars if you dont launch on an upswing of boost you will bogg the car hard and it will fall on its face....

with AWD turbo cars...launch control is your best friend!

Looks like nobody w/ a 335xi has an Exede or Procede installed. Any of the Tuners (Shiv or AA) know if their piggybacks would work on the 335xi? I would think the turbo tuner would work w/ no issues...but I'm curious about the Exede and Procede.
It should work no problem. I just haven't seen a 335xi on the road yet.

Do you guys think the XI's driveline will be able to support Procede torque? I'm guessing it's design is pretty robust, but I don't really know what to look for (size of the driveshaft?).

Why wouldn't it be good if you have extra grip? The idea is to put the power you make to the ground so you can accelerate faster, sitting there spinning your tires doen't do too much.
