Looking to Buy: 325i or 330i sport premium

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I'm located in Northern California, but will pick up a worthy car from almost anywhere on the west coast for the right deal. I really want a 325i or 330i 6 speed with sport and premium packages a must, as well as the L7 system. Prefer low mileage, and in excellent condition. Let me know if you're selling, I'm in the market to buy very soon.

Edit: I need to define my search a little better...

-Im looking for a 2006 325i OR 330i
-Needs to be a competitive price (stop posting links to $35k cpo 330i's, I'd rather buy a 335)
-Needs to be low mileage (for an 06, 20k to <40k is low mileage)
-Needs to be sport, premium, xenon, and L7
-Needs to be a 6 speed manual, or if its an automatic, it needs to be a great deal
-Needs to be in excellent condition
-price range $20k-$25k

OR

-CPO warranteed 2004 or 2005 330i ZHP
-6MT
-Low miles if possible

Thanks guys!

So, you are looking for an 06 model that is manual...and was never driven. Cuz most 06 models were delivered in 05....so that is 3 years worth of mileage.

Best of luck man.

Funny, I am in the Bay Area looking for nearly the same thing though only for a 330i and I'll accept "average" mileage if it has extended warranty or CPO. There is a CPO manual 330i at Peter Pan BMW though it does not have ZSP, which is mainly the reason I have not already bought - If you've been looking nearly as long/hard as I have Im sure you have already seen this as well.

Yes, I've scowered the northwest for an ideal car. Seems there just aren't too many 6mt's for sale. Sport package is a must, as I cant stand the regular grandma seats. I'm also trying not to deal with dealerships, I dont have time for the hassle and markups. Cash offer, no funny stuff.

Although not planning to sell, I have a 330i with only 20K miles that meet the specs except is not manual. It's in mint condition.

See pics here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=mt+diablo

I have seen an increasing demand for this specific car in this and other forums.

Is the 330i going to become a classic because of its limited production?

I may have the car you're looking for, except it's auto and not manual.

Let me know if interested. It's in mint condition and has been absolutely babied. I wash it weekly with Zano products and soft water only.

PM me if interested.

No, no - there are plenty of 330s out there just not many with a manual transmission. That is the real issue here. You can find CPO'd 330s with low(ish) and good condition but its the manual transmission that you won't see.

Ok, we get it.

However, BMW will make as many manuals as people are willing to buy. I don't think people are forced to buy steptronics.

I bought my car as a daily driver, and even though I would prefer manual for fun driving, there is no way I will put up with heavy traffic with a manual transmission. I ordered my car with steptronic.

(on a side note, I really like the way Steptronic works - it lets me have some fun)

Again, BMW is just satisfying the market's demand.

^^^ I agree. As much as I like a manual it's preference and if you wanted a manual BMW will give you one - assuming you're purchasing new. There is more demand for the car in automatic configuration and more people bought automatics so its hard to blame BMW for lack of used manual transmission now... If everyone wanted a manual then I guarantee you you'd see a lot more used manuals on the market.

+1..... you have to forgive the nut swingers. that get a little aggresive toward the auto crowd.

Not sure if you being serious here but, according to Autotrader.com there are over 50 2006 330is for sale within 50 miles of me. I kind of consider that plentiful...

I'm starting to get confused here... All I see is links about 330 discussion, links to cars that people don't even want to sell, and more chatter. I'd love to talk about bimmers all day, but this talk about how 330i's are so rare and whatever will not help me find a car, nor will it help me get a good price on one.

They aren't rare! There are tons of them around me, but if you read the original post, I'm looking for some requirements which just happen to not be available around me. I'm cool with letting the thread roam, but please try to keep it semi on topic, I'm looking for a car.

No, not with what he wants otherwise I'd of already bought it...

I see when you quoted my post though you didnt fully read what I said in it. Try reading it again as I said "there are plenty of 330s out there just not many with a manual transmission." For whatever reason you only read until you saw "there are plenty of 330s out there..." Read to entirety before quoting...
