Just to remind you chaps of my situation -:

Family
Me, wife, Daugher (nearly 5), Son (nearly 5 months)

Transportation
Zed - 2 seats (exciting to take to the ring)
Qashqai+2 soon - 7 seats (shite to take to the ring)

Whilst the Zed would be fabulous to bring along, it's definately going to land me in hot water, or bring the QQ+2, but the kids come along too. Neither ideal .

If I get divorced between now and August I'll defo be there - there's a deal for you .

2009 335i  [8.90]
Dudes,

I think we should do a list of who will come for the two track days in June and August. Personally I'll be there for both most likely - and the more the merrier of course.

Track Day Monday 18 June 2012
  • Alpina_B3_Lux + Batgirl(335i)

Track Day Monday 20 August 2012
  • RagingKileak (Matt, 335i)+ 1 (GolfGTI)
  • Ant + wife(E46M3)
  • Alpina_B3_Lux + Batgirl(335i)
  • MEGA (320d)
  • jimmylimmy+2(335d/E46M3/VXR8)
  • Jas (Megane R26)
  • I15GOD - Tom (335i)
  • ZURICH -Kev (320d)

Let's update and complete both lists, the more the better!!!

Tinny indeed ....well, at least it isn't one of those chavved up cars that sound a lot faster than they go!

With regards the 'ring, your surely have to have a set of nuts before they can be made mincemeat? Come on Rog....grow some balls and stop coming up with the excuses not to use the Datsun!

Smile Track Day - 21st August, sounds good

One of my pals drives a Vauxhall, but we won't hold that against him and was keen on getting to the Ring this year for his big birfday. Looks like this track day you're organising would be perfect timing, so if it is still open, we'd be keen to join in.

Hi guys,

Another member told me about the August trackday and I'd like to tag along if I may.
How do I sign up and pay the deposit?
And the description said "road legal cars" - does this mean that tyres have to be road legal i.e. not slicks?

Cheers,
Jonny.

or email me through my website http://nurburgringuk.com

Cut slicks are absolutely fine (R888s, A048s etc etc) but full racing slicks aren't allowed.

Cheers

Dino

I have just asked Dino for details to pay the deposit, so you can add me to the list. It should be good fun passing Döttinger Höhe as speed and it's one thing you can only experience on a track day. Catching a bit of the DTM will be a bonus.

Good stuff Lars. Thanks for letting me know about the day.

Dino, what's the deal with pit garages? Are there any available for booking?

Cheers,
Jonny

Jonny,

It's just the Nordschleife so no pit garages. There will be enough room for people to park in the car park though as the trackday is limited to 150 cars max.

I always leave tools at the hotel as I stay in one of the hotels in Nurburg - they are all within a couple of minutes of the track entrance.

I can see if I can secure us the old pitlane at T13 (IF we can get a decent sized group together) but even then there is nowhere secure to leave tools etc.
