oh bloody hell

no more 335d after wednesday

i went into MB manchester and came out the owner of a brand spanking ML420cdi Sport

Squeeze you can still call me a fat merc driving manc

The engine is immense and it sounds mega. a proper V8 rumble and felt rapid.

you will never believe the deal i got so i wont tell.lol: but for starters merc are offering 7700 dealer deposit on the 420 and i screwed them for alot more

when i pick her up on Wednasday ill post some picks

What a beast Steve!!!

Just hope the dealer gave you enough discount to combat some of the depreciation my mate financed a part-ex on one recently, the owner was in 9k negative equity on the finance after 18months when they decided they wanted a new X5 instead!

So has this killed the GTR plans?

I'd love to see you take a corner in that bus.

And as for UK5 (assuming that my recent procreation allows) the only thing you will be doing to my rim is asking permission to kiss it.

Steve, I know how you feel. I drove the GL 420CDI fantastic engine, really awesome. I couldnt justify a 420 so ended up with a GL320CDI, I also benefited from the fantastic finance pakage, £7K dealer deposit, for me no VAT and an APR of 5.9%. You cannot argue with that, I also have a two year PCP with a monthly payment of less than £470 and zero risk in terms of 4x4 depreciation. my deposit was only £1K!

I pick up my GL next saturday, what spec did you get?

Steve - what did you say you did for a living?

That's a BIG car with a BIG engine, bet you'll be one of those agressive 4x4 drivers now then. I'll make no comments about willie size

(No offence Pete - sure you're not like that)

Thanks BB. I think you will find mine is slightly smaller than Steve's, engine that is! 4x4 drivers are actually very cuddly and considerate I think you will find!

Snooky, I think you are right the ML is probably the best looking 4x4 alongside the new X5. However, I needed the extra space, therefore the GL won!

You are a young buck at 25, afraid I can give you 17 years love.

Rolling road sounds interesting but I'm busy that day and it would be quite a trek from up here. Are you going then?
