the quailty of the paint will depend on your car.

keep in mind that your car will have a varying degree of tint to the color which will make the car color lighter or darker.

to get a perfect match is to send a piece of your car to long and have it matched exact.

Really, for example If I send the cover from the tow hook? Would that be the same shade as the side skirts?

it will give the body shop a better idea of the tint within your paint ... tow hitch is kinda small ... a side mirror cover would work very well ... but i am sure a tow hitch covered could work as well

I've have many pieces painted via Long...always perfect match. I have Black Sapphire...looks great! I would not worry too much about color match.
