Advanced Detailing: Jet Black 328i
My customer who owns a 550i bought this 328 to use as a DD. He never had it detailed before, only washed at car wash facilities.
It was at one of those where they pointed out the horendous condition of the paint. Since i also found dried wax residue and the buffer trails tells me that this car must have been damaged somehow during delivery and the dealer made some repairs . I had to try different combos of polishes and pads to finally conclude that what was working best was 3M SR with an orange pad, followed by the same SR on a green soft polishing pad, again followed by 3M Ultrafine on a black pad. I topped it off with Wolfgang DGPS. Last edited by Advanced Detailing; 06-02-2010 at 08:52 PM.. |
