Nice number! Thanks for your sharing. I think this is the first 7DCT Dyno data here. It is very useful . So the 335is JB4 whp you did is above 360 whp.

Cobb vs JB4 - AFR's...

Many state Cobb AFR's appear to be more safe for the engine, however, I have not seen anything that would show any additional wear on the engine due to JB4 AFRs.

Am I correct in saying the JB4 seems to mimick the stock AFR trends more, as they inch down a little more throughout the powerband rather than dropping down abruptly with the Cobb tune? (see page 8)

The reason why cobb does tht is cause it hits higher boost level faster then the jb4.

Actually the JB4 or any piggy do not have the control over fuel as the flash do. Therefore they rely on less fuel, less boost, more timing down low-mid. hence the leaner AFR down low on the piggies. Personally i dont think it makes a difference which way you run. However cobb gets more torque down low out of the equation.

No DCI the car is pure stock except for the tune.

I had about 4 gallons mixed in a full tank of 93. Comes out to just about 94 octane. If I was using straight 100 or a 80/20 mix of 100 I would have run Map 7 for considerably more horsepower based on the butt dyno & speed to distance of a known section of a 540 on-ramp.

365whp is my everyday DD number with about $30 ($7.50 gal) of 100 mixed in when I get gas. Tank gets topped up with Costco 93 to keep the overall cost manageable. If I run straight 93 I go to Map 5 as an insurance against detonation since I have stock downpipes.

Since catted downpipes would cost me about $1000 & be noisy too boot (prefer a semi-sleeper, small Burger Motorsport decals are the only giveaway to the knowledgeable) I figure buying small amounts of 100 is a better bang for the buck + makes warranty claims & state inspections a bit less painless on my knuckles.

Does the 335is run a lower timing curve than the other 335s?

You need to ask Terry, he gave me suggestions on what to run w/o downpipes but not the details.

In stock form without the JB4 it dynoed 314whp - 375ftlbs on straight 93 octane Costco gas.

From the top of my head, i would say yeah it does run lower timing and a bit more boost than the x35, hence the added torque. That is a lot for a stock car..NICE.

Good numbers in here! I was dissapointed in my dyno. I should have done a baseline to see the delta hp/tq. I made 335/349 with jb4 map 5 on 91oct, dci, and AR dps. I have since installed a code3 intercooler and a meth kit is on its way. I hope to push around 390-400whp on map 3.

My understanding is that 91 can really whack the out put of a turbo motored car. The meth should move you right on up.

yeah, you need a baseline dyno to draw any real conclusions. BEAR had a delta of about 50rwhp(but it looks like torque was unchanged with a 375ftlb baseline)
On a dynocom my car made 280/300 stock, 330/380 stock on cobb stage 1 and i'm eagerly awaiting a chance to see what stage 2+ makes. Like BEAR said, octane is also hurting you.

Torque on the baseline is not absolute as we were having trouble with the pick up & it could have been less. That is why the baseline graph only shows WHP vs time.

The pickup was replaced with a new DynoJet part before the JB4 runs were made.

Hotrod was pulling in the 3's on some fairly skinny NT555s.

I think 3.1 second 0-60 was his best. He is auto and brake launches 2nd gear off the line most of time.
