Any DP Fix for N55

Are there any DP Fixes available for The N55 motor for the purpose of passing emissions via OBDII Scan? The Jb4 Stage 2 that I have has a built in auto clear, but it will not put the car in Ready status to pass emissions, and I heard a DP Fix can help with this, but I only saw them being sold for the N54 platform. Would love to not have to take off downpipes for the test.

No DP fix at the moment. We all use a tune (CoBB or JB4) to clear the code for everyday driving.

I consider the mini cat I run a dp fix. The o2 sensors reach readiness state and the ses light doesn't come ever when driving normal. Even if I drive my car hard, it takes a good 150 miles before it comes on.

They come in a two pack but you only need the one on the downstream o2 sensor.

So you think If I buy this, and turn my JB4 to map 0, so it doesn't auto clear, drive around for a little bit, I should be able to pass?

Which one is the downstream sensor? The one closer to the engine or to mid pipes? I might try that when the emission time comes again next year.

Thanks,

Yes but drive like a grandma, if you have an E92 (not sure about others) you'll need the minicat with a 90 degree bend in it or else it won't fit.

I might just pull out my dps for the test, will also pull of all my other mods and take it to the dealer to do a bunch of minor stuff under warranty

I think you just made up my mind.. all I'd need it for is the test, after that I'd let the Cobb clear the code.. Thanks

That's the whole reason I got it. It's definitely better than having to take out the dp every time.

From what I have read, the ones Markus posted most likely dont fit on E92, I found these, maybe they will work

those actually look even better and they're cheaper since you can buy just one, which is all you need.

I messaged the guy on the first website what I would need and he told me I would need both his "mini cat " and the angled spacer, which is $80 for the combo.... Weird

Did that one work for you? Would I just plug that in, put JB4 on map 0, drive around, then get emissions done? I think I saw a thread where you said you used it, but I think you were using it with Cobb Tune.

you don't need a mini cat AND spacer. All the mini cat is is a spacer with some extra mesh inside.

Also, it doesn't make a difference if you run cobb or jb4. I would turn autoclear off after you install it and see how long it takes your car to throw a CEL. You might get lucky and it won't throw it at all. If it does however, put jb4 to map 0 and drive around for 5 miles or so without going over 3k rpm. Then take it to the emissions place and you'll pass.
