Any DP Fix for N55
Are there any DP Fixes available for The N55 motor for the purpose of passing emissions via OBDII Scan? The Jb4 Stage 2 that I have has a built in auto clear, but it will not put the car in Ready status to pass emissions, and I heard a DP Fix can help with this, but I only saw them being sold for the N54 platform. Would love to not have to take off downpipes for the test.

I consider the mini cat I run a dp fix. The o2 sensors reach readiness state and the ses light doesn't come ever when driving normal. Even if I drive my car hard, it takes a good 150 miles before it comes on.

From what I have read, the ones Markus posted most likely dont fit on E92, I found these, maybe they will work

I messaged the guy on the first website what I would need and he told me I would need both his "mini cat " and the angled spacer, which is $80 for the combo.... Weird

Also, it doesn't make a difference if you run cobb or jb4. I would turn autoclear off after you install it and see how long it takes your car to throw a CEL. You might get lucky and it won't throw it at all. If it does however, put jb4 to map 0 and drive around for 5 miles or so without going over 3k rpm. Then take it to the emissions place and you'll pass. |
