Who will win???
next week I should be racing a stock ZO6 with nitto tires and I'm in a 335i coupe with all bolt-ons(V3 procede, fully catless exhaust with an xpipe, RR DP, light flywheel + clutch, AA IC, AA BOV, and DCI) and I should have my kw v1 installed by then. also I have some GFG rims with Vredestein tires.
both cars are manuel(not sure about the vette) with my current suspension set up I have a lot of problems launching and bounce of the line, but I ran a 13.3(the car can do so much more) I ran this mainly because of me bouncing of the line and I was nervous(wont happen again). also I think I was shifting before 6000 rpms and launching at 2000 rpms I can use some advice? (I was planning on filling my tank up with race gas before I drive up their) who do you guys think will win or has an edge?? we will be racing in the moroso in west palm beach, Fl In case you were wondering about the change in suspension was because I had a sound system that was super heavy and I had to raise the back of the car a bit, but now its long gone and my car looks like a truck because of how high it is.

You will need all the mods you can get, race fuel, and sticky DRs/Slicks vs his Vette on factory tires.
Try and post a video of the race for us.

Even c5-z06s have a mean topend. You will probably take him from about a 20stomp but by 110-115 he will be coming around.

Z06 is a monster! It has 505hp and huge torque from 2000rpm. I have a 335 with around 370hp and when i had i ride with a yellow Z06 i thought my car was 320 bmw...
Sorry man, but without meth, you have no change! |

Damn dnt tell me this lol with race gas and a good luanch shouldn't I hit the high 11's? How about if I remove my hood before the race?
The zo6 I think it's a 2007 or 2008

try to do all of the above stated - and most importantly practice.
At least race gas and meth would be quite helpful. Try to upgrade to latest proceed with bogfix and practice your luanches and shifting. My guess is to shift at approx 6500. Luanch at highest rpm possible - but without a lot of wheelspin. I am not manual - but what about the clutch valve delete mod ?? Even if you do not win - just give him a good race. But if you do not practice - And you screw up the DRIVING you have no chance to make it even competitive.

As much as I would like to see you win I don't thonk you have any any kind of chance to keep up with Z06 unless he falls a sllep during the race. As we all know Corverte's interior qualaity is low but it is a redeciolusly fast car. I drove one a few months ago and I couldn't believe its power. It is built only one thing in mind : performance.
Good luck |

You might be able to make the race a close one. But, I personally think your best bet is hoping that this guy in the Z06 doesnt know how to drive it and just blows the tires off it. But, good luck. It would be a nice win if you could pull one out!

+1 C6 Z06 can run high 10s with the only mod being drag radials. Good luck but a waste of time in my mind.
