How many revs for jb4 g5 2 step getting of the line on track

Last night I when to the track and I was launching my 2 step at 4500-4800 and 5000 revs with dtc push, then I try it with dtc off but i wasnt having good grip on either. My car is an e90 6mt, FBO, jb4 g5, meth, 19 inch wheels 275 tires, dynoed 448whp-521tq. I know I have to buy a limited slip, but what can I do to get better traction?

Unless your running slicks your better off slipping the clutch and launching between 3.7-4.7k. Only bad side is wear and tear on the clutch. A limited slip would definitely help but until then you need a more gradual power transfer

Better tires.

lower air pressure on your tires. Though not recommended, a small little burnout should be ok and may help.

Drop a 1000RPM then try to work up.

I've only played around with it a little on the street but I find that about 3500 is nice just to hold a consistant RPM and gradually left off the clutch not dumping it. It spins some but doesn't roast em. I've tried lower but the 2 step seems to come off slow sometimes and have bogged.
