I doubt that a 9yr old car is still under lease.. So then wouldn't this just be a sale?? Correct me if I'm wrong, but car loans can't be assumed by someone else. The person is going to have get their own loan, then pay you for the asking amount, which is then a sale, not a takeover.

No one in their right mind would do a "takeover" and agree to make the payments while the car remains in your name. Unless they are desperate and can't obtain a loan on their own for whatever reason.
