Seriously? Why is everyone chomping at the bit to buy a fiberglass bumper? Call it FRP or fiberglass reinforced polyester, it all means the same thing. Cheapass, inflexable, brittle, fiberglass. (And that's coming from a guy that produces custom fiberglass.)
The arkym bumper looks amazing, but dont buy a fiberglass front bumper. |

I took the plunge and got the fiberglass bumper from Extreme Dimensions. It definitely does not fit the best at first, but we got it looking pretty damn good. And yes, fiberglass is not the best option, but when you want something badly, you will have to make a sacrifice. I plan on getting my factory m sport bumper refinished and having both just in case, but trust me, I'm worried shitless about hitting a pothole, parking block, curb, etc with the bumper.
I would have paid up to $1000 for a poly arkym rep bumper if there was one available, but there just isn't... And there is no point in paying the huge amounts of money for a carbon fiber M3 arkym bumper and making it work on a non M. Last edited by SUHleen; 01-29-2016 at 08:22 AM.. |

Here is pre-LCI but you'll have to get the M3 fenders http://www.duraflexbodykits.com/2007...-p-548502.html

Also may not line up with the stock 335i hood. Did you know that an M3 Hood isnt a direct fitwith a e92/3 ? The M3 hood sticks out alot more forward and ould hit against the grills and wont latch down. For this reason also it deters me from buying the bumper Thanks thought8! |
