Houston Hand Wash
Where is the best place to go in Houston for car hand wash? I am willing to pay for what ever as long as they do a good job, have good service, and reputation.
Thanks! |

Okay. I really have no idea. I just got my car and I thought I read somewhere that machine car wash is not the best for the paint. I don't have time to wash my car so I was hoping I could just take it some where and save some time for me. If taking it to a machine wash is fine then it makes it easier for me. Thanks.

Best Hand Car Wash on richmond Ave in the galleria (between chimney rock and fountain view) does a decent job and use microfiber. I go there when i dont have time to wash my self. They have some really high end vehicles going through there

Are you looking for an individual, or just a place to go in and drive out within a short period of time? I know an individual that details, and I'm sure a simple wash is part of his business.

This is a asain place you just pop into, not a place you go check out their website.... LOL. They are on richmond between chimney rock and fountain view ACROSS from a Mr. Bubbles car wash. This place only charges $14, its a place to go get a good car wash, its not a full detailing place. |

The one on Richmond between Chimney Rock & Fountain View (next door to Sam's Boat) is called Splash Hand Car Wash. The address is 5726 Richmond AVE/Houston, TX 77057; the phone number is 713-953-9274 (impossible to get a hold of them on the phone) http://maps.yahoo.com/map?q1=5726%20...&gid1=19058145. Cost is $14 one visit or $55 for 10 washes in a month. This includes exterior and interior.
I just got the 10 wash deal last week. They do an excellent job at an unbeatable price. I will get my car washed and have lunch at Sam's Boat twice or three times a week. If anyone wanna meet up for lunch, PM me. |

There is one on San Felipe and just inside the loop. Think its called Dream's Car Wash. Never been there, but I always see nice cars there. Maybe just because it's by River Oaks.

I'm assuming you live in an apt, or an area which doesn't allow you to wash it by yourself?
We should all go to one of these places together, and bring our washing goodies..... I just do it at home, 2 bucket method, and if I have time, hand-wax - no orbital yet... hit up the wash/wax/detailing section, those guys are gurus! |

I just went to the car wash place mentioned above on Richmond. It was worth the $14.

Do the next owner of the car a favor - NO MACHINE WASHING! It swirls the paint (even touchless - blasts the water that scratches the paint with the dirt thats on the car).
Hand wash, hand wash, hand wash
