Blacklines alternative - red

Hey guys,

New member here.. I did a lot of lurking around in the past couple of months and thought its time to share

I read about overlaying the taillights with oracal 8300 as an alternative to blacklines so I gave it a shot.

Whatdya think?

Also, I got tons of the vinyl left over... I'm willing to share if interested... Though I'm from Canada so shipping might be a bit steep. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Looks good, quite a few of us have done this lately. I did mine using some other "red out" vinyl and it's kinda bubbly, it was hard to apply and I couldn't get the bubbles out no matter what so I'm going to try again with the Oracal. Where did you order your vinyl? I've searched for Oracal vinyl and only found it in 20 foot rolls. Just need a 12" x 12" piece of course...

I ordered a 15"x10y roll at http://www.ink4u.ca/. I dont mind cutting mine into smaller pieces and shipping it off to you guys since I have a bunch left over. I could look up some shipping rates if interested...

I'd really appreciate that! I just need enough for my tails as well

My zip code is 48105, if you wouldn't mind looking up some shipping rates.

Thanks!

98101 here. Would appreciate if you could send a piece, but of course depends on shipping cost. Seems silly to spend more than like $5 to send $.25 worth of vinyl.

Definitely go for the 2nd option with the smaller clear space. Looks more OEM and works better with the lines of the lights IMO. That's the shape I did and I don't think it affected reverse brightness at all - the vinyl is translucent so light comes through fine.
