New Wheels And Drop On Sg E90xi...
UPDATED with a few new pics.
Just had my xi dropped using B&G s2's. The ride is better 10x better than stock ride. Unbelievable change. I also drove home on RFT's and the ride was not harsh at all. Also threw on some Avant Garde 368. Dont think that there are many of these wheels out there. Its Pre-lci andI have and can say that 275 falken on ET 33 fits great, no rubbing what-so-ever. Got to say thanks to Anthony and his guys at A&L in palatine. Great guys to work with. Definetaly hit them up if you need something done and live in the Chicagoland area. The Pic is really shitty because its been raining and I used my iphone. Ill put some more up when I get a chance. Just wanted to share. Last edited by Babydragon; 04-25-2011 at 04:45 PM.. |

Thanks. I've gotten about 3/4 to an inch drop so far.
Yeah the top pic is washed but it's in my garage. Will get some front, back, and side pics, once the rain stops. |

Just springs, they are sweet, not many people use them that are on this forum. They are "I" specific but fit perfect on "xi". The ride is better than stock. It's firm and not bouncy at all. If you look around you'll find that eas sells them for m3's and they have gotten nothing but positive things to say.
I probably put on 200 miles this weekend and was every kind of road imaginable and the ride is great, also ditched the RFT's [QUOTE=LeMans335xiE90;9449555]looks really good... Can you give me more info on the B |

I had them installed on my 335i ZSP. I could not tell the difference in ride quality - they rode just like the sport springs do. They were of course paired with the ZSP shocks. They just sit a little lower.

Nice! How's the front rake? Can you post a picture from the side?
Also where did you get the springs? I was thinking about putting OEM sport springs on my car but I think the drop maybe too much for the shocks. |

It looks great from the side. It drops the front real nice. I will post more Pics from the side, its just been raining, so I havent gotten a chance.
Got the spring from a place called EAC tuning. They were on Backorder everywhere, so I called B&G and found out what vendor bought them last. Its PN# 8.1.166 I will probably be close to 1.4 all around. 3/4 i measured the day i dropped it and it was right after I had the car jacked up putting wheels on. ZSP wont drop your car 1.6 inches. more than likely a little less than .75 inches. Ill measure again later and see if it has settled further. |

glad to hear these are not that bad! Will your stock shocks hold up with them? Hope to hear some good news because this would be excellent if they hold together!

Stock shocks may hold up. Not really worried about it. I think I'm gonna do the bilstiens before next winter, so as long as these last 6-7 months that's fine with me.
