Do the "return to coffee" only if the car remains entirely on your own property. Otherwise the fiendly (sic) neighborhood constable may give you a ticket for the charge of "quitting". Last I heard it was a £30 or £60 fine.

I want to go out and try a couple of these on my car now. I knew some of them but not a few of the later ones, like the heater one mentioned above.

How do you get this? Is that part of the Media Package you have?

A couple of really useful things I've found in the month or so I've had the car.....
- Folding Mirrors...........forgot to unfold them and set off today and they did it themselves after a few 100 yards. - Electronic brake hold - Mine's a manual and if you're on an incline with foot on the brake and go to move off, it holds the car for a couple of seconds.......neat. |

From memory... BMW ConnectedDrive >> BMW Online >> Weather >> Details or forecast, not sure. Then there's a couple of symbols for speaker on/speaker off. Highlight speaker on and press the iDrive button.
I'll never use it again but it's pretty cool |

On my brand new car it now seems to light up like a christmas tree when you unlock it.
So every time you unlock the car not only do the indicators flash - but the tail lights switch on so does the front sidelights. Looking forward to premature bulb replacement - NOT Not sure if all LCI's do this? Also the sidelights are now stuck on permanatly (EU regs?) when driving along. Wouldnt be so bad but, even though I have xenons the sidelights just look like a ring of crappy orange. Dont look as good as the Audi LED's IMO. But the LED lights the LCI does have like indicators and rear tails do look good, shame the side lights arnt great. |

So you then have the tough decision whether to put on your lights or not! Nanny State. Pahhh. Still, the law now says you have to have DRL's (on new cars) but in the UK you at least get the option to switch them off, unlike other EU countries. Mike |

Several useful new ones for me in this thread. But I don't have a 'Rest' button (see OP) on the air con panel on my 325 LCI (I do on my 06 120d SE). I have 'ALL' for setting the air con temp to match driver's setting and 'MAX' for max cooling in the car.
Would prefer to have 'Rest' than the 'All' facility. David |

Incorrect. Our 2009 LCI has "Rest." Our relatives LCI 2010 has "All."
I prefer All to Rest.
