Big Exhaust Tip!!

Hey guys,

I am clueless when it comes to exhaust stuff.. so please be gentle!

I have a big exhaust tip on my car.. and it seems rougher and louder than normal E90s for sure with an occasional burble letting off the gas in 1st gear. I think I have a sport muffler or maybe just the tip (it says BOSAL brospeed on it). I would like to change the tips to something that looks a bit better. How do I go about doing this and how do I know if I have a res/cat delete or not.. I guess look under the car and see how many cats I have?? Whats involved in replacing the tips or the muffler and whats involved in doing the cat delete and will it pass emissions and stay legal??

Lotsa questions so thanks in advance!

Damn, you should have asked the previous owner what is up with the exhaust when you saw that.

Take it to a shop put it on a lift and see what's done underneath.

Secondary Cat Delete isn't a big concern for emissions.

Tips are just a cut and weld job.

Also noted.... it says M-sport pkg in your description, but I don't see it on the car? Not sure if M-sport is referring to ZSP SPort or Mtech.

Yeah.. thanks.. I will take it in when I have some time and see what can be done about it.. I'll probably just end up changing the tips. And the M-sport is in reference to the standard sport package - aka sport suspension/sport seats etc.

most of the aftermarket exhaust tips for 330, 335's will look really out of place on your 325. the one on there now has got to go my friend

DiMisa makes custom tips four our 325 / 328s, its sized JUST right to not overtake the back end of your car.
