Originally bought the S4 as my daily driver and has since been continuing its duties only for commuting to work and the mountains. The S4 has never been tracked and has only seen highways. I have done regularly schedule maintenance including oil changes every 5,000 miles. I have also continued to do preventative maintenance and just replaced the rotors, pads, brake fluid and installed stainless steel brake lines. 2 owner car, it originally came from Texas. I bought it with 50,000 miles on it.

The cars has always been cared for by SCR Performance in Colorado and has been babied. Yes it does have a lot of miles but the car has never been abused.

Recently finished Maintenance List (Within 3,000 miles):
Oil Change
Rotors
Pads
Brake Fluid
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
APR Carbonio Intake (Carbon Fiber)
Transmission Fluid


The car drives smooth and accelerates quickly. I have replaced the ignition coils that were under the recall. I have replaced the passenger headlight and tail light. All electronics work perfectly throughout the car. The car has never had a major issue in all the time I have owned it.

Have you done the timing chain service, it would have been due before 180k miles

The timing chain service is only required if parts are beginning to fail. I have spoken with several local tuning shops and if I do not hear any rattling coming from tensioners or other parts within the timing chain I should not replace yet.

I have done every maintenance that is recommended by Audi and have done preventative maintenance. I change the oil continuously, along with the transmission fluid and brake fluid.

Everything about the car runs smooth since I have taken great care of it.
