n54 e90 performance exhaust on e92xi

Hey guys,

I found a bmw performance exhaust in the classified for an e90. I am wondering if this will fit an e92xi. I looked up the part numbers, and it seems like the e90 exhaust is more expensive so it is not the same part number. Any reason for this?

It comes with the resonator delete X-pipe that's why.
It'll fit your car, the tips will just be a bit short and possibly sunken into the bumper a bit, you can try adjusting the way you install it to make it look acceptable or just quickly cut and weld to extend them out.

Ahh i see. With the modification work, I doubt it will be worth it to buy an e90 exhaust. I'd rather just wait out on an e92. Thanks man! Should have just messaged you, i had a hunch you'd know about it.

It'll fit if you want it to, it's just a small difference in how far the tips stick out. It should very cheap to just cut the tip off and add one inch of pipe and re-weld it if necessary as well. Just bargain the price

Or just put some nice aftermarket tips onto it if you want.
