I'm well covered, I have AAA and BMW roadside assistance. But perhaps Shim would be more interested to know/note of that particular service

I checked, it's a 7-day pass to the Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive.

Maybe we should just drive an extra 100 miles and drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway for free.

Yeah, we might as well just go to North Carolina. It's only an extra 700 miles there and back.

Ay...didn't know it was that far

Shim, if you need help in the planning let me know. We'd need to break the trip into legs (or Special Stages ) with rest stops, lunch breaks, refueling breaks, communications, media recording (video, camera etc).

What about sending a recon vehicle 10-15 minutes ahead to 'clear' the road

I can just imagine it now, we all get lost following me, and something goes horribly wrong and a car behind you rearends you at high velocity, and we all fall off the cliff and blow up.

I'm trying to figure out how to do this...if people are up to it, we can do a massive Leeds Manor > Skyline Drive > Blue Ridge Parkway > Section of 56 and 60, which is about a total of 400 miles (including the drive to Leeds).

Might as well...we'll definitely have to start early in the morning then. We also, need a meeting point, so we can rally over there together.
