Can I run 245/40 18's on front and rear on 162's
I have a pair of 245/40 18's. Can I get another pair and I run them on the front and rear OEM 162 rims? Would I be better keeping the 245/40's on the rear and getting a pair of 225/40's for the front? Thanks, Newbie w/ 06 325xi

With AWD you'd be better off running the stock sizes. You want to make sure the diameter of the tires is as close as possible.

I'm going to bump this again.. I know some people run 225/40/18 snows all around on the stock wheels but could one run 245/40/18 all around on the 162 stock wheels with no problems? I found a set of snows for cheap..

Yeah.. Your best best is to run a square setup.. Although the 225s are better for the snow.. I think youll be ok with 245s with winter tires.. Im keeping my 225s for winter n then getting a square setup of 255s for the summer
