Frickennn car washhh!
Ok so I go to the local drive through car wash on Friday in the morning before work. Yes I know I shouldn't have gone there because its not good for your car but I didn't have time to wash. So anyways as I'm going through the car wash my tire pressure monitor goes off. I get out of the car wash with the car and check the tires. My rear driver side tire has a 3 inch gouge in it from the tire pulleys in the car wash! :mad: So as of right now I'm waiting for the owner of the car wash to call me back since basically he's going to have to pay for a new tire.

Never heard of such a thing before but that's not to say it didn't happen. Hope you and the owner can come to some agreement.
Another good reason to use only a bucket, shampoo, sponge, elbow grease, and chamois.

i go thru the auto car was in between hand washes, just to get the grime off in between. Never had something like this happen...that's just awful. Gas station operator should definitely pay for a new tire.

i showed it to the manager right after i got out of the wash so he knows what happened.

managed to get a new rft in 3 days from my dealer!! esp being on backorder for two weeks. just have to give the owner the bill now and hes payin
 bmw wants like 400 bux for a new tire wtf

Ouch. With a hole like that located on the sidewall, can one still drive with the run-flat tire?
