The issue is shipping so I'm talking with KL racing to see what the best deal is to be shipped to all these addresses. |

Regardless.. You can get custom size intercoolers from Bell Intercooler for about the same price. Quality is probably better too.

Bell Intercoolers are atleast $150 more (according to http://www.bellintercoolers.com/pages/aachart350.html) and to speak on quality when they haven't even been tried on our cars is premature... |

Correct. It's a3.5" core instead of 4".
And you have side by side picture proof showing the difference between the two? Where were the terrible reviews? |

I went with the solo-buy and it was shipped today! I'll let you all know how long the Swedish Post takes to ship the IC to California.

As far as I know, the quality of an intercooler has nothing to do with what car it is placed on. Bell has a great reputation from what I have read around the web. I am not affiliated with Bell, just thought I would throw out them as another DIY option. If you are not comfortable with fleabay quality, but don't want to spend $1k, then they are probably a good option. They don't have a 4" thick option unfortunately.

Here we have OP presenting us with an intercooler he's actually tried and it's done fantastic. Not only that it's CHEAPER than the rest of the competition. |

Update:
I had spoken with someone from KL racing. Basically I got a groupbuy discount of about 15%. All depends on how many people actually purchase. The issue was that I called several times today with no response to set it up. Therefore until I get an answer I can't post up a certain price for purchasing. Tomorrow is a new day... |

The OP's IC was found in SWEDEN. Until someone else starts helping find a decent IC in the US that is somewhat reasonably priced and not one of the ebay ones that you claim are junk, I think I am helping somewhat....

If you want to help find a cheaper, better intercooler; instead of criticizing blindly. The IC being from Sweden with all parts not included is still cheaper than any IC in the e90 market currently, by the way. |

Damn I don't even know what all the talk is about. $300.00 is nothing much compared to what other brands are asking for their intercoolers.
At least this is a better upgrade than running on stock! |

I spoke with the rep from Sweden.
She said there are 10 intercoolers left @ $338 shipped for normal pricing. I can do it for slightly less if we do a groupbuy, but not sure if it's worth it. |
