Most my friends and myself use this guy, Doug Silva. Been using him for more than 6 years. I have zero record under me. His office number is (206)772-2225 and his fax number is (206)772-0355. If you go check under the NW Region on the 6speedonline, there are some recommendation as well. That one must be good, caz all his customers are the extoic cars owner.

Fred Hopkins if you got your ticket in Tacoma/Issaquah/Redmond/Kirkland courts. Tell him you were referred by Christian and he'll give you a better rate (I think the discounted rate is $250 right now). Between me and friends he's successfully taken care of 32 tickets so far

DAMN! Haha good looking out guys. Its nothing big.. 15 over the speed limit.. Clocked at 45 on a 30... Stupid because it wasn't even dangerous at all, 1am and not a single car in sight. I had a couple beers but that didn't impair my driving at all, he even made me get out the car and do the eye test.. He could have easily let me go, but oh well..

So many to choose from!!! Hell, if they are all good (based on your guys' recommendation, which one is the cheapest??)

btw, I have two speeding tickets under my record (1 from a school zone and another was just a regular ticket) and one non-moving violation (defective muffler..). The idiot lawyer that fought that case couldn't win it so he got it lowered to a non-moving violation, which I still had to pay the same amount or more as the original speeding ticket.. Funny story... I pulled out of a plaza and onto the road "without coming to a complete stop", the stop sign was about 4' tall and was covered by bushes. It was about 10pm and there was very little ambient light, the cop said that the car behind be had to "come to a sudden stop", when he was still a good 20' behind me.. After that dumbass lawyer lost and I paid the stupid ass ticket, they removed the 4' stop sign.. How awesome is that?

Fred Hopkins gets my vote. He got me off the test-drive speeding ticket a while back.

I look up to cops in general, 99% of them are great people...

... but the penny collecting, donut-craving, power-mad cops that patrol neighborhoods and give out tickets to EMT's with perfect driving records a fat ticket for going 35mph in a 30mph zone at 11 pm...? I have no respect for those glorified meter maids.

so we still gotta pay if they lose?

a lot of traffic attorneys that I have talked to have tried to get it dismissed using deferral, which is something I can do myself. But thats not an option for me anyways.

I really don't want to pay $250 for an attorney if there is not guarantee he can get me off.

unfortunately that's the rule we have to play. although many great attorney has great reputation, no one can GURANTEE dismissal of case because it's up to the judge eventually...
but some good lawyers built up good relationship between judge or prosecutor so they can deal with them to either dismiss the case or amend it down to lower charges, but still prosecutor can only a offer a suggestion to a judge and the rest is totally up the the judge...

i.e) with very same violation, same attorney, same judge, one with 2 or 3 moving violation in his history might get his case dismissed, whereas 7 or 8 in his history might not...
