quick question about rewiring speakers to amp

Do you guys run new speaker cable from speaker to amp or just splice existing wire and rejoin and run new cable to amp?

One of the first rules in this guide to retrofitting is no cutting.(see above)
That way you can return the car to stock and are way less likely
to mess things up mechanically and electrically .
Buy a harness if you need to mount amps, processors and head units.
You could use t taps for sub preamp inputs.

The existing wire is suppose to be good for up to 150 watts.
(per channel)
