Cool BMW's "Plant 0" - Look Into BMW's Secret Prototype Process. 0 Prototype is BMW X4?

BMW's "Plant 0" - Never Before Look Into BMW Secret Prototype Process

COMMENTS

Here is an excellent never before seen look into BMW's Research and Innovation Center and the prototyping/design process of the first prototypes of each BMW model, each built by hand. Especially cool is the look into a "0 Vehicle," a prototype milled out of a solid block of aluminum to help ensure the highest quality standards. Its purpose is to check that every single body part fits the body exactly to spec. There's also some insight into the camouflaging process.

Any guesses as to which 0 Vehicle is actually being blurred out in this video?

UPDATE:

The 0 Vehicle Prototype appears likely to be the future X4 SAV. According to SCOTT26:
Quote:
The car you see being worked on but cleverly disguised for the viewer is something which is a couple of years away from production. The clue to the model is “Spartanburg” Hence why engineers are learning about the car for creating the production methods needed to build it.

Looks like an F10 to me. You can easily unblur that pic if you have decent photoshop skills which I do not.

Oh yes, someone please do that! Pretty cool process too, it's a shame they put all that engineering into those machines and they have the problems they do.

Either a 3GT or a 1er. It looks like a hatch-back type of car.

wow, they are taking the approach Apple took with Macbook Laptops, carving it out of a solid block of aluminum. Insane.

I agree it looks like a hatch, so probably the F20/F22 1er. My guess is as good as anyone's though, which basically means no clue! Can't wait for a reveal though.

The big clue to unlock what the project is why the guy from Spartanburg is present there.
What seems to be the next model assembled in South Carolina alongside X5,X6 and X3....
