hey benaud, it depends on who you purchase from. I bought a genuine disc for $250 unmarked with an original case. I've seen plenty of counterfeit DVDs over the years, trust me this one is original and there are plenty more out there if you check out the seller.

shailesh the reason people might not share their nav discs is that plenty of people from Mulgrave browse these forums, so posting ISO images of current nav discs is not a great way to build a good relationship with your local BMW dealer. enough said? |

I would say just use a Garmin stand alone..you can even sell the old unit when you upgrade, on my second one now. Plus it has school zones and cameras. I think even the Tom Toms do.

You can buy it from BMW dealers. There are two different versions for Business and Professional nav. E90 nav is DVD-based and you can make a backup copy of your original nav disc.

I got a price check for a purple v16 DVD for my 335 and was quoted $630 - ouch! Why the heck are they so expensive?? It's not like I can claim it back on tax or anything so guess it will be a very long while before I update my nav disk. The Parts guy did say that it now displays speed cameras which I think has already been reported in this thread. Apparently you just go into the area where you search for hotels or shops etc and in there you can select to display speed cameras (show icons) - I think he said it also gives you alerts as you approach them, but it's not like you can readily update this info without giving up your first born or offering up your liver for transplant.

well i've been watching the ebay auctions and the seller seems to end the listing early unless some reserve amount is hit, so i gave him a call
There are 3 options 1. BMW Original Disk 2. Modified disk with speed cameras and alerts 3. Workshop Disk happy to do a group buy and share on torrents! EDIT: i removed the prices... Last edited by manyways; 05-19-2010 at 09:56 PM.. |

Got in touch with that guy on eBay!! he is rotting eBay. he cancels auction a day before and tries to make deals outside eBay.
He claims all copies in the market but the ones he sells will damage your navigation system.. I did not like his attitude. There is another guy advertising on Gum Tree from Brisbane has anyone tried him? I want the green disk. Cheers |
