Logging WGDC after PID and WGDC Bank1 would show if there are any boost oscillations (or rule them out). -Josh |

I'm going to try to log that for you. If there is no oscillations power surging (and bogging on agressive) happen and power delivery is not always smooth. Just have to find out if bogging continue to happen as there is no check engine or nothing.

I posted my logs here #5708, I am on Stage 1 agressive with 93 oct, bone stock expect for Cobb. I really don't know what oscillations should look like and on what parameter, some veterans here said they look OK though.

If you could capture a log of 3rd gear only from about 2000 to 6500 we can look for any other issues. Obviously we recommend doing this on a closed course since the top of 3rd gear will put you at a speed above highway limits. -Josh |

Yes -- IF you aren't getting an emission test done anytime soon, take it off. It'll through off your AFRs, make the car run funny (rich or lean) and give you emissions related codes (like what you're getting)

ATR - Pressure drop over IC
In ATR software. Does anyone know the relationship that "Pressure drop over IC"
has to do with the system. It is very cosertive for my IC so hoping to get some gains from a table modification. |

It appears that they reduce the boost target by that much since the turbo is having to generate the boost target PLUS the drop across the IC. The good news is that while the code caps the boost target (18psi at sea level? About 15psi at a mile high) you can get some of it back by zeroing out that table. All other tables seem to have no affect on raising the boost once you're up against the cap. So anyway, that's one way to get a little more if you want it.

The AP knows which ECU you have just connect it to your pc and check "Info"... pretty freaken easy. Also read the codes for the issue you are having.... connect AP to OBD port and go to troubleshooting. Also take some time and read/learn about how AP works. There are lots of videos and docs on cobb site about it and tons of info here.

When I first bought the AP out the box and installed it to my car it felt like
a champ! It never spuddered. Then, after all the changes to the maps and version updates...I havent been able to get what I paid for. I even have un-installed it and taken the car in to the dealer a couple of times thinking there was something wrong with the car. But All that they did was regular sceduled maintenance and a couple of changes like new spark plugs, coil packs, but according to The Dealer...the car is in great shape. So, I don't know what to do...may be I should take to car to Cobb now that they are in SoCal... |

It sounds like you are having misfires which the usual suspects are plugs, coils, and injectors. Plug your AP into your OBD II port and drive around. Go under troubleshooting, read codes and let us know what you find. |
