Nice work, looks crazy expensive. Probably one of those options you want to make sure and check in the first place.

Nope. Windshield remained the same, and it works very well - there are almost no doubles on the image.

BMW X6 HUD

Good Evening,
Thank you for your report on HUD mounting X6.
I am French.
I am about to install a HUD on my X6, I just need to know where I have to connect my son. I have original electric beam with the button.
Thank you for your reply

Wow thats cool. Any chance the E92 can do this? Was this ever an option on the E92 3 or m3?

I am sorry, could you please clarify your question?
What exactly do you need to know how to connect?

Thank you,

Olga.

Unfortunately no.
BMW never offered HUD on E9x vehicles from factory, so there is no hardware available for this retrofit.

Supercool.
Did you buy the cables as a finished set, or did you make them?
I`m thinking about doing this on my 08 x5 e70, but a bit unsure about the wiring.

We make the wiring kit ourselves. Please feel free to send us an email, and we will give you a quote for this retrofit for your specific vehicle.

Then why bother posting this in the E9x Technical forums?
