EC is a lot more expensive if you can even find time...
Wakefield is a better track for beginners. If your first track experience is at EC without proper tuition then you won't be getting the most out of it... Do a beginner style day at Wakefield or Marulan, then go to EC. |

i cant afford to slurge my money on a new c63 unlike someone
Every dollar saved is a dollar earned. Rossi...no offence but not everyone knows, the difference between ec and wakefield. You can read reviews about the track but unless you go on the track, you wouldnt know which is easy and which is difficult nor a good track or a bad one. Lust...i will leave it in your hands...im sure most of us here is responsible enough not to drive like a mad man or woman on track |

EC is a MUCH safer track, the tarmac condition is 10000 times better, there are more staff, the medical facility is better then wakefield and the track is self is ALOT WIDER. So if you consider a narrow track, bumps, cracked tarmac, gravel/dirt on the track as a better track for beginners....then im confused. Of course wakefield has more run off, because the track is so shit on grip that you always run off and its so fkn narrow its impossible for cars to be next to each other and be safe. As soon as a car runs of track, that part of the circuit is just sprayed with dirt! |

I dont remember the tarmac of wakefield being overly bad... it is narrower but even at EC I don't think novices should be overtaking each other anyway - potential for more problems.
I'd still rather do EC but that doesn't take merit away from Wakefield for having large run off areas which is a big plus for any beginner. |

Besides me asking on price does not means that I'll be choosing the cheapest track. It's more of knowing why is it cheaper? What is the benefit of me going to the more expensive track vs the cheaper ones. Maybe I'm just looking to get out on the track so that I can have a feel of my car at it's limit in a safe environment. |
