The Giken diff is too tight and has other issues. You are sliding on straight line acceleration due to tires, alignment, significantly uneven corner weights, worn suspension parts, or a combination. It's not a terrible diff, but not as fast as a Drexler or other Salisbury LSD.

oh really what kind of issues? and why is drexler better? damn i hope im not going to regret going the drexler route lol

I can testify that one of the things I noticed after installing the Drexler is that the car always goes straight when you accelerate hard, with very little slide tendencies unless you are taking a corner. And I do have some power. You can find this remark is my original review. This was a huge improvement over my stock differential.

I use the Wavetrac and it has served me well on numerous track days over the years. But lots of good discussion in this thread.

My bit of contribution is to replace the progressive springs on your KW v3 with linear Swift springs (contact Harold at HP Autowerks). With proper alignment discussed by others, there will be very noticeable improvement on track. Plus your daily driving will be more comfortable too.
