335d squeally brake pads!?!?

Hey all

For whatever reason now that the good weather has arrived, my brake pads are making an awful squealing noise.

I have Ferodo DS2500 on the front and Performance Friction pads on the rear.

Are there any ways of getting rid of the horrible noise as its so embarrassing to be driving through town in a nice car and touching the brake makes everyone put their hands over their ears?

Do I need to re bed the pads or something?

Any suggestions on other pads to try?

Also how can you tell when your discs are shot?

Thanks again everyone!

Plenty of brake cleaner and then copper grease in all the right places should hopefully cure the issue.

Garage List
Might not be pads at all, but the wear sensors. Mine made an awful din (o/s/r) until I coated the sensor with copper grease...

There's a group buy in the uk classifieds for some EBC Yellowstuff pads, which are reported to give a great improvement over OEM spec. 335D disks are decent enough to keep.
