MD Emissions

I was wondering what others have done with catless DPs and Cobb AP? Do you just have to have your stage 2 tune downloaded to clear the CEL, flash to stage 0 or unmarry? I thought you had to stay in stage 2 to keep the CEL inactive.

Thanks!

You have to keep the car flashed to prevent the CEL from appearing, but you also have to use a DP fix to get your downpipes in "ready" mode for emissions.

Would the DP fix be part of the Stage 2+ map settings from Cobb?

The DP fix is a separate piece from BMS, the link's below.

Decided to wing my emissions test today without DP fix to see if it was really needed... Passed without question. I am catless running a Cobb PTF protune (rest of mods in sig). Looks like MD can pass with 1 readiness check failed (I am assuming it did not pass but do not have the scanner to check for sure). Just thought I would share for those of you worrying about emissions checks.

Nice. I didn't even try without the dp fix the first time around. I guess I will try next time around in 18 months or so.
