I have a 335i with only 48k miles, and when going over speed bumps my shocks make that squeaking noise, they dont ride like they are blown at all but do make noise going over bumps. Do you know if an aftermarket warranty may cover replacement of shocks? It says "included" in the warranty info, but how does one justify them being "blown" I bought it at the dealership i got the vehicle from.

Want to see if i can replace the shocks before putting on my H&R springs.

If you can easily replicate the noise to them then they will diagnose the car and make the necessary repairs in theory until the noise is gone. However, that noise may not be the shocks although it could be.

Ok yea it def does it over bumps, no pop noise or anything just that shock sound where it sounds like a air squeak or something. I am going to install springs but will take it to the dealer to see if they can replace before.

It is probably just the accordion cover over the piston that has detached from the strut body. When the detach they make a squeaking sound for awhile; it eventually goes away. Unless the shock is leaking, I doubt they will warranty it.
