POS $40 lens and knowing how to get the best out of it.
Keep your lens with an aperture of F8-F11 and you can get those skies like that.

Wow, those pics on the link are really nice. I'll second that on the deep blue sky. There are too many damn buttons/settings to tinker with - just when I learn something, there's something else to fidget with to muck it all up again. *argh*

The 60D is a good camera but I passed on both the 50/60D cameras, I have a 40D. The next one will be either a 7D or 5DIII when it comes out in the Fall.

Nothing wrong with using a T2i, it's still a Canon. Kind of like having a 335 vs M3, damn fine and still a BMW. If you take a well exposed picture and know how to get a sharp photo, a T2i can blow away a 60D. A 60D gives you more options. Generally speaking if all you print is 8x10 at the largest, the pixels don't count at all unless you crop.(in general)

No worries about buttons, take baby steps and confirm what you know. Ask stupid questions and learn.

I have a picture of my car with a 2002 Ferrari 575 Maranello 6-spd that is one of only 246 made with that transmission....that's pretty damn magnificent - too bad we can't use pictures taken prior to the challenge

^^ btw I think some african "prince" emailed me a while back and wanted to trade me some of that colorful money for real dollars
