That comes in last since Sean is trying to calculate what size spacers I should buy and I never thought of stud conversion. I also need some wheel locks

Just got home from shift-s3ctor. All in all it was fun, lots of cool people and cars. Some sick Ford GTs and a UGR Lambo Gallardo (which went off the track once). My car did pretty well for the first time (for myself and the setup). Didn't get a ton of proper match ups, but I did hang with a tuned 600-650hp Z06. He got me at the very end, but we were having issues in 5th gear on the autos, not something we could fix there. Still pretty happy that I could hang with him in a full weight sedan with 19" VMRs.

Best 1/2 mile trap was 150 from a 55 roll. I wish they had more of these events so we could have more time to dial it in, but fun nonetheless. Also, apparently we are all ball-lickers, courtesy of someone who didn't show up.

I'm pretty sure he does. That's what he's going to do to my headlights when he does the switch from Halogen to Xenon. Couldn't hurt to ask?

Did you get your sec. cat deleted yet?

Not yet dude, I'm debating if I want to get some coils first.

Sounds like it was a good event! That's crazy that all the autos were having issues with 5th gear.

Why are you all ball-lickers?

3D studie lip, performance diffusor (half CF, half FRP), or coilovers...help!

I feel everyone will say coils, but I'm tempting the first two more because they will cost me like $800 less

I vote studie lip with cf splitter That's what I was thinking about getting as a winter set up to keep my 1M front clean.

Yea, even Terry's car and a customer of his had similar issues, so it's more of a high power issue than the mods that get you there.

Unfortunately some people still took this event to be a pissing contest. Despite the friendliness of the people that showed up, the ones that didn't show thought all of the single owners were "running their mouths".

It's comedy gold to hear someone ragging on cars that actually showed up and performed when his "wasn't ready".

Spacers would be part of stancing your car.

Hmmm weird. So for the past few days, hell it might have been more one of the rings on my LS3s were half dim. Like there was barely any power going to half the ring but all the other rings were fully powered. Now today in the morning I checked again and it was the same so I was going to call BavX but I just checked it again and now that half ring is fully powered again. You guys think it's just a fluke or something or is something actually loose lol.

Anyone have any experience installing coilovers? How difficult is the process?
If I was to take it to a shop, what would be a decent install price?
