I've driven the track and been on the skid pan and handling circuit. Good fun, you'll enjoy it!

Great pics.
Any more of the m3s and rothmans scrs? Interesting to see the calipers on one car have stick on thermometers - what are these used for - detecting abnormal running on the stages, or just for r&d? Seems tHe mini chassis has some factory panels but you'd have guess it's probably 60% new build.

The amount of work that goes into producing the Mini is amazing. They do keep a reasonable amount of the car, but the rear quarter panels and boot floor are replaced. The transmission tunnnel is completely cutaway and replaced and obviously there is quite a bit of work forward of the firewall. The rollcage is completely integrated into the design, providing strength, but also mounting for stuff like the steering column. Attention to detail is amazing too. They even remove all of the plastic shroud from the headlights to leave a bulb and reflector alone. Perspex windows with ventilation ports, but only because that's a legal requirement. Quote:
