Guys,

Don't forget to make sure you have your camera equipment tested/charged before the event.

I just bought a couple mounting devices - one for my iPhone for $10, and another more expensive mounting device for my digital camera. Both of these was much more cost effective than buying another Go Pro.

Will keep the Go Pro mounted on the outside of the car with the iPhone and digital camera on the inside.

Agreed Adam, let's get as many in car runs as possible on video! I'll be editing the the official shift-s3ctor event video as well as the sbs runs that will be posted, PLEASE get us your footage and list of mods, we will have laptops set up at the event to collect the files. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the event.

Ordered a interior mount for my iPhone last week. It's a great way to get another view from inside the car.
I'll bring a lightning cable to transfer footage for anyone with an iPhone 5. Don't forget your cables if you are going to transfer from a device that doesn't have a removable memory card.

Looks like Saturday is close to being sold out. They are allowing up to 100 cars per day, and I just counted 93 spots currently posted as signed up on Shift-Sector's website. Sunday has 67 spots so if you are thinking about doing this, you should sign up now.

Only bad part is the new Black Edition does not ship until after the event. I went ahead and ordered the Silver Edition because it ships out next week.

Damn, that really sucks about the timing. I was almost going to order a second one and some wifi bac-pacs to have a couple views for my races. Kinda sucks to buy now, though. Then again, the Silver seems like it would be more than enough.
