wj4: thanks, I was hoping to install the M-sport perforated one.

If anyone is switching from the perforated wheel to the M tri color, I would be very happy to buy the perf wheel from you.

What does that mean? There were marked cut out areas (for paddles) but they were not fully cut out? Or are you talking about the screw holes?

I have the M Steering Wheel in my E46 330i and love it.
I want to get one for my new E90 335i also, but I would like it to be the all smooth, non-perforated one with only black stitching.

From searching, I can only find the perforated one or the smooth one with tricolor stitching.

Does this all smooth, black stitching M wheel exist for the E90?
If so, link or part number?

Thanks!

Thanks for your response FrankoQ.
I have searched eBay and like I said before, I can only find the perforated one or the smooth one with the tri-color stitching.
Would you happen to have a link? or the name of the eBay seller you bought from?

I will e-mail this Swedish guy "qalbeli" as he seems to have the most types on eBay.

Thanks for any help on this,
/eldudo

Yes that is the guy.
go into his online store from ebay.

When I bought mine, I searched and searched but he only had the color stitch one. I went into his online store and found that he had the one I wanted in there. very fast delivery. I bought it on 5/5 and I go pick it up today at my post office since I wasn't home when they tried to deliver.

But, let me go surf around to see if I find it.

ARGH.... my bad eldudo. I gave you bad info. I should read more carefully.
you want the smooth one without the tri color.
Sorry. I have not seen that in my searches.

Thanks for the help FrankoQ! :rocks:

Yeah, I e-mailed him a couple of hours ago.
I think I will end up buying the perforated one with the black stitching.

Couldn't beat you... 45 minutes.

Removing the side clips that hold the airbag held me up a bit.

Removing the wires for the back of the airbag was also a delay.

Other than that, the rest of the installation was quick.

Wow!!! This wheel feels so much better than the stock one.
Amazing! thicker and feels soft to grab and squeeze. I really like it.
