Sirius keeps asking me to subscribe?

Hey guys,

I've had my vehicle for about a year now and I'm really getting sick of this issue. About 40% of the time I turn on my Sirius sat radio it just says "Call to subscribe..." though I've already done that!

I contacted Sirius and they suggested that since it is OEM that I'd have to take it to BMW for inspection.

I have an appointment on monday and want to be prepared. Any ideas/suggestions/experience?

Yes my car does this intermittently. Especially when I forget to switch off the radio before going into my office underground parking garage. Not sure why it does this, but annoyingly I need to turn the car off and on again to 'reset' the radio.

Your SA should be able to figure out, its definitely software related.

It's a known issue. Have your dealer check SIB 65 07 07. Mine was repaired per this SIB. I still occasionally have silence with "Call Sirius" for the first 30 seconds the car's on, but then it functions normally.
