Has anyone used the 19” p zero nero rft ?

Considering these on my 335is after the brickstones wear out. If you have used both, comparison feedback is appreciated.

I've wondered the same. I went with ps2 and the are a huge improvement over the stones if you stick with rft... Hope someone chimes in on the pirellis.

The 3rd gen rfts have got to be better all around. Tell more about the improvements you saw between the stones and ps2 rft.

my e92 330 msport pre lci still has the Pirelli p z n rft I think its a good tyre
ps I am changing the wheels and tyres soon

i was actually quite impressed during the summer months. extremely sticky and the ride quality was decent as well. definitely on the pricier side and there might be other options that get similar, if not better performance for less. (i.e pilot super sports).

The only negative i have to note is that when the temp dropped below 65 degrees, the tires would slip easily in first/second gear when hitting the gas 3/4 to WOT. I dont have any comparison but its my understanding that this is normal with dedicated summer tires

I'd also be interested if anyone else has thoughts. I have the stock Bridgestone turanza and they are loud and way too harsh. Got 41000 miles on them and still with decent tread but time to move on...

Ive had some P zeros on my e46 non-rtf and the tread didnt last long at all. I try to stay away from them now. On the track im sure there amazing though.

In my experience The ride of the ps2's were light years ahead of the stones. Handled bumps so much better. Longevity is better too. Grip was good with both tires...

About the only thing I don't like performance wise on the stones is that there is not much forgiveness in a corner with rough pavement. The tires skitter and car hops then regains composure. I have never felt that with go-flats on other cars. Ps2 RFTs do the same?

On smooth corners, the stones "rail" pretty good.

Have 19" p zero rft's on my 2008 xi, pretty happy with them, on the track they were awesome and on the streets i have no problem with them at all, they seem to wear, i have 40.000 km on them now, just filled them up with nitrogen this spring and it softened up the ride a bit, when time come to replace them, i will spent the extra $ and buy p zero's again

Yea def better over bumps. It's still a run flat so keep that in mind. But it's a lot more forgiving and smoother than the bstones.
