Hello!
So i`m trying to activate folding mirrors,but with no sucess,with my bmw 530d e61 2006.
My NCS expert FOLDER is downloaded from link,where guys from another forum told,that it is working fine. (already tried diffrent version,same error appears).
My steps are:Open NCS expert,load profile (revtor,or expertmode) ,press F1,then F3,choose E60 then CAS,and get error : "FOLLOWiNG FEATURE IS INVALID FOR: FA$510 "
So i cant read my car,cant even make a FSW file ,cant read any ECU,can anyone know whats the problem?
INPA is working fine.
NCS version is: 3.1.0 Daten is v60
The TRC and MAN files in "work" folder are empty,and the size of them is 0 bytes
Can someone help me?

The second one.
Because,i have them from factory,but they are not working at all. I did all checkings,checked the eletric motors,they are fine. When i put eletricity to the mirror folding wires,they fold. The button in door is working,and shows active,in inpa,when i press it.
i suppose,the previous owner changed the KGM and maybe there they are not active,and trough NCS i want to try activate.
I can regulate the both mirror glass,just cant fold them.

I m explaining again. i cant read my car,cant create FSW.man file , i ltteraly cant make a VO .
I start NCS expert,choose the profile,then i press F1 ,then i press F3,choose E60 chassis,then i choose CAS and i get error.
I do it wrong?

I updated NCS expert,and updated daten too, now the error is like this. I press F1,F3,choose E60,choose CAS and this is what i get.
FA is blank,after i press OK

Yes,inpa is working without problems.


What settings in need to look? I got windows XP

Both of them do the same error,already tried. I m dessperate,dont know what to do anymore.
I updated all the files,got newest NCS,EDIABAS..INPA is working fine

Hi, everyone I'm having a same problem coding aux to my e60 530d 2005, so I have installed the cable which was no problem, and then I moved on to code it to my vehicle. I added to my Vo +NAUX then I moved on to the next stage and I keep getting the following error, any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Everything works fine, I coded my new battery and some other things, but cant read cappl unit. Also tried update my spdaten files to v.60.1

Error in CABD! Look at CABI.ERR and ERROR.LOG!

488 is Lumbar support.
Do you have metal valve stems on the rims?

For TPMS you need Option S2VBA Tyre pressure control (TPC). If you do not have S2VBA, you will have FTMS.

I did, but I sold the rims. Mines an early LCI build.

I was able to code almost all I wanted to change last night using NCS Dummy.

1) DTRL off in auto (did not work)
2) Welcome disclaimer
3) .5 sec folding mirrors with key fob
4) 5 Blink blinkers (custom code)
5) Lower Fuel Reserve Warning was 1/4 tank now 1/8 tank.
6) TPMS off, FTM on
7) E93 Convertible open while moving slowly, like my old E46.

It is amazing all of the options in these modules that are adjustable.

This may help, I haven't done it yet but the VO needs to be modified.

4/21/18 - I was able to remove and add the VO to add FTM and remove TPM.

To anyone following this guide in the future - do not do the last step where you 'process car'. Also, make sure you have manipulation DISABLED for the last step where you reset your CAS FRM/NFRM modules. Having manipulation enabled is INCORRECT.

And make sure your DATEN files are up to date before you do any of this.

Not sure if this new thread worthy but I downloaded NCSExpert from bimmergeeks and it only has 2 profiles, Manipulation and Factory, can I use manipulation or should I find a profilefor Expertmode or revtor?

The profiles should already be configured to manipulate codes and to factory default. No need to clutter your NCS. You can even rename those and call them whatever you want.
