Murdoch's (snr) appearance in front of the Commons Select Committee is embarrassing, he comes across as an inarticulate, bumbling grandad and completely lacking in knowledge of how his Company functions. Good job he has a bright, articulate son, James, who is on the ball, with a convincing performance.

Odd how these things can be interpreted. I'm viewing this as an experienced media mogul who didn't get where he is today being inarticulate or bumbling and is just sitting there because he has to. His son on the other hand is well versed in management jargon-ese and on examination of his replies they mainly consist of 'I don't know'.

James reminds me of one of those twats on The Apprentice.
