Upgrading Flywheel

I have a JB3 now and soon i will have DP's, Intake, FMIC, BOV ect. When do i need to upgrade my flywheel? i cant really find anything about them, i have A/T and im not sure if i should get one when i get the rest of my mods or if i will be ok without one.

their are people at 420-440 whp with stock tranny parts. I wouldnt worry about it.

If I read your post correctly you say you have an automatic transmission? Auto's don't have flywheel/clutch assemblies...just a torque converter.

Yea you're right, they don't. Do they have an upgraded torque converter though?

...unless you want to change the stall on the lock up converter...

FYI, the piece (gear) that goes in front of torque converter is a flex plate.

ok, this is a stupid question, i know.
But can i convert my A/T to M/T?

O didnt read your thread right though you had a 6mt. Yes youll be out a shitload of cash for slower shifting yet more driver fun to drive.

Same answer though. You stock tranny will hold up fine.
