A/T Tranny Flush????

Regretably I'm in the market for an A/T car. In the late 90's I had a A/T Jeep and there was a way to flush the transmission from the A/T buy hooking the tranny up to a dialysis type machine which would pump new A/T fluid into the transmission and evacuate the old fluid.

Is this type of flush possible on the E90? Doe the A/T on the E90 have it's own radiator?

why would you want to flush your tranny fluid in a new car like that? i doubt anyone could put more than 30-40k miles on their car since it's been released last year and getting a year old car with 40k miles on it would probably not be a good idea (unless it's dirt cheap).

BMW claims the tranny fluid can last a life-time, meaning, 100k miles. then, and only then, should you consider flushing it.

IMO BMW believes the avg owner will not keep their cars past 100k miles and didn't promote "lifetime" fills until the E46.

BMW initially said "never" and now has said it's 100k miles. IMO BMW A/T's are weak, so changing the A/T fluid every 30k miles would be preventative maintenance well spent. If I were going to own a BMW outside 50k miles, I'd want to be able to change the A/T fluid with relative ease.
