Correct rear main seal part number?

Been having a tough time trying to find out what the current part number should be. Here is my research so far: (Source RealOEM)

Car is a 2008 E90 335xi (Pre-LCI)

Pre-LCI : 11117584398 : 90 mm X 110mm X 12mm
LCI : 11117587168 : 90 mm X 110mm X 8mm

Pre-LCI Block: 11110443605
LCI Block : 11110443605

Now in the field notes on RealOEM for the Pre-LCI it says:

"Use counterpart to old component" and "See MH 0036655"

My old seal looks like the 12mm Pre-LCI version which is what probably came from the factory.

1. The 12mm seal looks like it will need the bmw/loctite sealant, it has the notches that match up with the TIS rear main seal procedure etc.

2. The 8mm seal looks like a normal rear main seal. I will have to look up LCI rear main seal repair in TIS later.

3. The blocks look the same part # wise.

4. Does "Use counterpart to old component" mean I should used the LCI part #?

Thoughts ?

I believe the original part was superseded by the new one. The new rear main can be had at ECS, it also states it fits your car.
