I respect these guys what theyve done to e46 m3 community but in n54 community nothing but promises and end up to many unfinished projects.

This sucks but hpf never really did anything worthwhile for the n54 platform...

I am sorry about their loss, hopefully the money is recovered. But I can't help noticing that they remained stuck on the e46 M3 platform while so many great BMW platforms passed by. Even without the money loss, I think that they were headed to failure.

i agree with everyone statement about him contributing to the E46 community and not enough on the new E9X body styles. Everytime I would look at videos I would drool over the fact I could make my E46 that fast and make that much power. But when I go check their website and to see the prices that would be involved, I get discouraged and annoyed about how much a turbo kit and labor would cost. Chris knows there is no other company out there that make turbo kit for our cars and take advantage of that. Which is why I am one of the newst supports when it comes to Maximum PSI because of the power they make, how competitive the prices are with various supercharger companies, and how they use the stock ecu to tune everything. I support Chris for making a breakthrough with his turbo kits, but I will never support him for the prices he charge his consumers.

Yeah, I’m fucked. I don’t even have the cash to pay to get it sent back to my house.

Anyone want a BMW with a fuck ton of mods? Im about to go broke with this situation too. Not to mention my wife is loosing her mind right now....

I was told to go pick it up... but i cant. Its throwing a weird code I guess and it’s not running right. But it just started that out of nowhere, so it’s something easy most likely. Everything is BRAND new including the DME. It was running fine with the kit one day. Then the next it wasn’t.

I’m calling Shiv as soon as he gets in. Pray this all works out for me, this is the only car I own and I’ll be home in less than 3 weeks.

listen, if you own the business there is no way in fucking hell you are letting 175k, 200k, or 5k go fucking missing.

no fucking way.

there is something we are missing in this story.

Sorry to hear this! How much would it cost to get the car back to you? You do us the honor of serving our country so I am sure I am not the only member willing to help out. Maybe we can setup a donation on the forum or privately to help out?

I highly doubt that he stole the money all at once... If you are concentrating on finishing projects and not looking at books and letting 200k slip through over a year then that's possible.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't let that happen but its possible especially if money is going in and out like they had... I mean 4.9 M in revenue is not a small amount. Never know how he did it either for now.

Anyway there probably is more to it too... maybe someone had a gambling problem too... Just never know. Plus I think his business was slowing down too.

I guess they would fulfill what they can with the inventory on hand. The rest well, I hope they issue a refund

If they did lose a couple of hundred grand that could definitely put them out of business.

HPF is not a global corporation with millions in assets. That type of loss would kill most small businesses.

Either way it's a shame......and weird how that much money in a small business disappears without anyone noticing.

$4.9m might sound like a lot, but you have to operate, and trust me, 5m burns out really fast when you consider overhead, R&D, insurance, rent, and salaries.

and the owner didnt exactly seem not to be hands on, shit he was making 15minute videos every other week.

my beef with this is that at one point, some one had to be approving credit movement or account withdrawals? and for a 11 FTE business, i seriously dont see how you could miss it. i mean shit, i need to file sales tax every quarter, im gonna go over and make sure every account is up to date.

the fraud aspect of this, thats the part that im concerned about. i also dont understand how they had 18 months to operate, but lose a court case and close the next day? thats not gonna make a ton of sense.
