The owners manual does not say about CFM. It says maintain between 4-6 bar. Do not exceed 8 bar. The safety valve opens at 8.5 bar.

make sure to cover the 2 open cylinders, cabin intake duct, alternator etc - most of the time two cylinders will open at a time and 4 will stay closed - I let them soak in carburetor cleaner for a few hrs then vaccumed the liquid out - blasted walnut grains from one side and kept the vaccum going on the other end, still the shells were ALL OVER - the valves come out new though!!!

Walnut shell's should not go everywhere if you have the correct vacuum attachment!

We don't need operating pressure for air compressor systems. When you buy an air compressor you go off of CFM ratings. All air tools are based off CFM rating but have operating pressure. All shops are concerned about how much CFM they need. You don't want your compressor motor to keep on running!

Correct. This I know.
U mentioned finding out the CFM. I looked in the owner's manual for the Blaster and they list nothing for CFM rating. The stuff about the tools was why I purchased the one I did. For how much I use my air gun and rachet, it will suffice.
The copper lines I am installing will have a six foot drop from the ceiling to the compressor to help with the moisture.

That seems like a horrible idea as the carburetor cleaner is very volatile and the vacuum could ignite the liquid when it sucks it up. I would clean it out with a rag before I vacuumed it out.

That walnut blaster kit looks pretty solid and that air compressor was the same one I was looking at, comes with an impact gun and wrench too I think. The bavauto site recommended this for a compressor

"suggested minimum 20-30 gallon tank, 4.0 CFM @ 90psi), airline dryer & filter"(blasting media must stay dry)

Do you know if that compressor has an airline dryer and filter? I'm not too familiar with air compressors, do most of them have that?

Not sure. I purchased one. I am also installing copper piping from the tank to the outside. With a drop from the tank to the ceiling and the run to the outside will help with moisture.

You must buy a water separator I also recommend setting up piping. For your blaster that sears compressor is fine. For the bmw blaster it needs a higher cfm.

A small run of copper pipe will do next to nothing for condensing the water vapor back to liquid that a water separator can remove. A cheap alternative would be to use a 50 or 100' air line submerged in a tub of cold water with the separator at the end. The above compressor will most likely run non stop while blasting. I use to have a similar compressor before replacing it with a 220vac unit.
It'd also be a good idea to see if you can adjust the cutoff pressure on it. Anything above 120psi is a LOT of wasted energy. For home use anyway. Most likely the cutoff is fixed though.

Depending on lots of things an air setup can get pretty fun and crazy! Mind sending a pic of your setup?
