Pretty sure that's also HPF GEN I which doesn't really help either...

Gen 2 has a resonator that's supposed to reduce drone and rasp... Which is why I'm looking for videos of it paired with catless downpipes... I wanna see if it can be loud without rasp

I did the test video and can tell you it needs a high flow cat or another resonator because it does get a little rasp through mid range. For daily driver it could be a little overwhelming and I opted to stay with my stock secondary cat-back because I didn't want the rasp sound throughout the interior of the car like this exhaust does. But if you can live with the noise, it's one nice setup. But for the price, you probably could have a custom shop do one for less that would sound just as good or better.

its only the drone thats bothering...i think the above poster is talking about drone and not rasp. there is absolutely 0 rasp and sounds awesome...wish there was another exhaust out there just like this one with the drone above say 3.5k rpms.
this exhaust sounds awesome and isnt even all that loud until you go wot, but the drone will drive you insane right at 2500 to 3000 rpms...and trust me it will drive you crazy i needed ear plugs lol. but this was my favorite sounding and i have heard almost all of them.

Well I won't have catless dp's at the earliest til this summer! I just ordered the exhaust and I will do my best to thoroughly review it with and without cats as my mods are added! I was disappointed at how seemingly few people have at least posted videos or reviews on this particular exhaust system!
My main goal will be to address all the questions I had while researching this system! And in response the the "just have it custom fabricated" guys, do a little research on how much a 3.5" full mandrel bent system would run you cat back! I'll just say, there's a reason I went ahead and bought the system opposed to a weekend exhaust shop venture! I live in Texas so maybe that has something to do with cost so hating if its cheaper where you live!!! Anyway I'm just disappointed that there's only a small group of single exhaust systems for the 335i when many of the other inline, even V-6 sports cars are accompanied by a single 3" up system! IMO vendors kinda missed the mark there! Kk I'm done now!

Agreed. Single exhausts for I6 motors sound much better and more exotic, but it seems most of the BMW I6 exhaust manufacturers like the dual sound. And to be honest, it's growing on me; but a single exhaust 1jz/2jz or RB26 just sounds amazing.
